Im a lifelong fan, our city CANNOT lose such an institute as Leeds United. if DUNCAN REVIE is reading this - we need you NOW!!

I am not from England or the city of Leeds! I did not grow up in to a culture where are all my mates in school supported Leeds! they all supported your Man Uniteds and their Liverpools. i was the guy that supported Leeds and proud of it till this very day. Everytime i played football i was swamped by a sea of red jerseys, my white leeds top stood out like the sun. but the thing was i was known as the boy who supported leeds united while the everyone else just blended in the back ground!

I have come on here to pledge my support for saving Leeds United, I have supported Leeds united for the last 15 years, I have lived in Leeds all my life and cannot see how such a big, beautiful city cannot have a football team it would be a crime. We the people of Leeds and other Leeds supporters from around the world deserve to have this wonderful club, which unites us all together and not just Leeds supporters but football supporters in general with a common passion for the wonderful game. It promotes a togetherness of people from all walks of life in such a way that nothing can compete with it. This wonderful club (yes i am talking about Leeds still) has a brilliant youth set up which keeps children and young people away from trouble and off the streets, The 500+ jobs lost wouldn't bear thinking about nor the knock on effect of where do the 20,000 fans go when their is no football in Leeds. Leeds United has a great history and a club like this should not be simply folded it should be helped in it's time of need. It is not the people of Leeds nor the Leeds United supporters fault that for the last 5 years or so we have had to endure bad management and business deals. Here's hoping for a brighter future
Marie

We need all the support we can get, its time to stand up and be counted. Come on all you Leeds Fans get behind this Site and save our Club. We are Leeds!!!!

My name's Rigger and I'm from www.leedsunitedfanclub.com This week I lost my job - I work for Fopp and 700 people have been made redundant. My old man had a fall on Monday as well, and spent a couple of days in hospital. He's 84. Now this. As much as my personal life is falling apart around me, I actually worry more about Leeds United than anything else .... my old man is getting better and I will find another job, sooner or later thought it's doing my head in at the moment. Leeds United don't have the "sooner or later" option : it has to be now. We need a saviour, whether it's some goon in a suit wielding a magic briefcase, or just some uber-rich benefactor who can spot a bargain when he's sees one. Look the gift horse in the mouth ! Grab the bull by the horns ! We're a HUGE club! We're the biggest single-club city in the country. We've got a massive following. We've got a big, well-equipped stadium. We've got a state-of-the-art youth set-up and facilities that's produced the likes of Aaron Lennon, Paul Robinson, James Milner, Alan Smith and Scott Carson in the last few years. Sugar-daddies : if you can't see the potential then you're blind. Rival fans : if you can't put aside your hatred for the club out of loyalty for the game itself, then consider that it could be you next. And yes, I mean you Man Utd. I mean you Chelsea. And I mean you Sheffield United. What happens when the Americans get bored? What happens when Abramovich fancies F1? What happens when Bryan Robson takes you down another division? For the good of the game, support Leeds now. I don't mean the team : I mean the cause and all it stands for in this bloated, shark-infested cess-pit. The money won't last forever - the bubble will burst ... it already has for us ... there but for the grace of god ... walk a mile in our shoes. We're Leeds. And we're proud of it.
Rigger

Leeds united fan for 17 years myself, for sake/good of british football,Lufc must be saved,be a massive blow if one of countrys biggest club went under/out of buisness not only to us fans, but to football in uk in general. We will be back im sure MOT wocko

For forty years I supported Leeds United, I have shared the ups and downs of this club with many other supporters, we have been privileged to see one of the best teams in the land. Unfortunately, through no fault of the supporter we have been dealt a potentially disastrous blow by those who have only one aim in life, to make money out of Leeds United, whether during the team’s successful years or now when we are on our knees. Only other supporters will know what I mean, would managers, directors or even players have the love and passion we all have for our clubs, none of us are safe and could fall on hard and difficult times like my beloved team – Leeds United. Bury the hate or dislike for us and help us in our hour of need, please, please help us! Thank You. Bill – 1551hugh

Redbus to the rescue or is it Revie or Morris , but bates out and shafted to the tune of 10 Million (I Hope) there is a God and he is a Football fan.I have supported this club since I was big enough to climb over the Kop wall in 1963 when another Revie started to save our club I have lots of fond memories and frightening ones, Being a football was not the safest of pastimes in the 70's and 80's. Leeds Utd is an institution we do not let institutions die easily nor will Leeds Utd. We will survive.
Michael Geldardf

we need leeds united, it would be unthinkable not having our team anymore. we all love leeds!
becky

I am 35yrs old and I have been a Leeds fan since the age 5. My father came over from Mauritius in the 1960s,just before the Revie years, and started to support them. There are so many things I want to say. I live in London, and I always try and go and watch them play. I’ve seen them Arsenal, Spurs,West Ham and Crystal Palace. I always wear the top, and walk around with it on. I always look forward to our games on Saturdays and Tuesdays. Since we’ve got into this problem, all my friends who are Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd fans feel sorry for us, and they want us back where we belong,THE PREMIERSHIP!! There is no football, without Leeds being there. Roshan

This is not just about Leeds United; this is about love of football and love of a football club, with everything it means to a city and it’s people. Our story is the same as many others; greedy or idiotic businessmen and under-achieving players ruining a great club. As ever it is the fans who suffer the most. We love Leeds United and will always do so, regardless of what division we are in. That’s real football, not the two or three clubs who can win the Premiership or the few who play in Europe. Loving your club; supporting your club come-what-may! All football fans should rally round in our time of need – real football fans would. Bugsy – 35 years a Leeds fan. So far…

Hi i'm from the Leeds United Fan Club Forum too, and i urge ALL football fans regardless of who you support to support any chance of saving this club, we are in the hearts of many as their club or their rivals. This club and its great supporters do not deserve this! Danny

I live in Devon but have supported Leeds all my life as does my son and daughter. What annoys me more than anything is the fact that the Inland Revenue waited literally until the last minute to lodge their appeal. I think Mr Bates was aware that the appeal was forth coming, hence the statement on Monday. I dont really care at the moment who owns our club as long as we have a club to support now and in the future.
Tim

I started going to watch Leeds when the great Billy was gaffer! 20 years ago! I am hoping to take my son in the next few years he is 2 at moment it would break my hart for him not to have the chance to support this great club like i have over the years! So let's get behind this campaign and SAVE LEEDS UNITED! Barney! (ILKLEY WHITES)

I'm a lifelong Leeds fan, and wouldn't know how to cope if we were to enter liquidation. Would never support another team for as long as i live!! But heard the news that Siman Franks is about to buy the club!! I Don't care who owns the club, aslon as there is still a club to support. Come on everyone get behind your team WE ARE LEEDS!!! MOT

Leeds United great club rise again and make us proud. You have had my support for 40 years through thick and thin. You will have it 'til I die. Leeds and proud of it.

As Bill Shankly said 'Football is not just a matter of life and death: it's much more important than that' Leeds United have been the constant in my life for nearly 40 years. Ive spent (sometimes felt wasted) too many hours, hard earned cash, even tears and a lot of anxiety following my club, the good times, when they come feel like nothing else, the thought of it not being there is not something worth comtemplating. However comments won't guarantee a new dawn. We need to take some sort of action. There is a worldwide fan base out there, we need to be UNITED, there is expertise, real business brains, potential for raising hard cash, for finding out just what is going on at OUR club. How can all the support be galvanised into a real voice and a future for Leeds United. We have spent too many years sitting back and watching a club with real promise slowly going down the pan. M.O.T

Where's the sense in the tax office closing us down over £7 million, when they will receive many millions more once we are recovered. Save Leeds!
R Morton

Yesterday at 4.20pm I sat there at my work desk absolutely numb Nipped outside and puffed on a cig Train journey home from Liverpool where they have just signed a player for £20m And my club staring into the abyss Today has been a day of mixed emotion from Leeds fans, some optimistic, some pessimistic. I think every one of us to a man though are confused. And worried. Please God, get off your cloud and pull on your Leeds shirt, we CANNOT lose our club! MOT

We’ve been through it all together and we’ve had our ups and downs , so goes the Leeds United anthem. Those lyrics could not have been more apt for any other club. From Champion League semi finalists to near liquidation in what seems the blink of an eye. Whenever we reached a new low and it appeared things could not get any worse, they did. The fans though are still there awaiting the club to take off again. Whoever saves Leeds United will be investing into a gold mine. Leeds United has shown it has the support to sustain a top 10 Premier League club. The fans ,the club, the city, just need someone to save the club they just need someone to give them a team that can go forward , a team that can make them proud again. If that were to happen then the passion and loyalty of the fans would ensure the investment was paid back many times over.

I am a Yorkshireman, and have supported Leeds for as long as my memory serves. Currently living in Australia, I feel so helpless in our great club's plight. Leeds United is necessary for football, for the great community of Leeds and for all those supporters around the world that have a special place in their heart for them. Leeds must live.

SAVE LEEDS! DON'T LET THE TAXMAN WIN! (Sorry Chip...)
White

Although i'm only 20 and there are people commenting who have been leeds supporters for 45 years etc i have been to enough football matches to know what sets this club apart from any other. The passion of our fans to see the club do well is untouchable and to stay loyal at such a bad time for everybody concerned is what makes this club not only the best club with the most history in yorkshire, but also the best supporters in the English league. Therefore i ask any potential investor and worthwile investor not to wait any longer to show your support to Leeds United. For i guarantee you will not only see the benefits of leeds fans at elland road on matchday but from the Leeds supporters from all over the world.
Luke

I have supported Leeds since 1968 and now live "dan sarf". I am more than willing to give a four figure sum towards saving Leeds if someone/anyone will take on the arduous task of administerig the fans takeover. We all KNOW that Leeds cannot cease to exist - even the fans who sing about hating us acknowledge the league would be a sadder place without us! Who's willing to do t?!! MOT
David Maskens

it cannot be allowed to happen, one way or another leeds must survive. the inland revenue will lose more from 500 unemployed than leeds owe so come on gordon brown and papa smurf - sort out a repayment package the the club can agree and keep to!

Wolves fan offering my support and hoping theres positive news around the corner.Football needs massive clubs like Leeds.
Rich

Leeds supporter since '68, can't get to matches like I know I should, but will support LUFC for life in whatever form they take and whoever runs them. That is I will support the team. My preference for a new owner would be someone with a passion for the club (Duncan Revie) with enough financial backing to save the club and move forward. Whilst an Abromovich may seem a good idea I don't actually agree with that philosophy. Someone like John Madejski who insists the club should stand on its own and not expect multi miilions to buy players. I would also for prefer the money to be British, but I don't honestly think there is anyone out there with the money and the passion, (not sure I trust Simon Morris and not sure about the Redbus offer). Bottom line is though, whatever it takes to save LUFC for our kids, grandkids etc. MOT

We need to get our club back up and running. Stop all this legal stuff its affecting our city, our club and our fans. This club has great long term potential,it just needs someone with the guts to steer it in the right direction and it will in time become a more stable yet profitable club once more. non of us want Leeds United to go under so do something about it before its toolate.Put your money where your mouth is and save LEEDS UNITED for everyone's sake.

As a Whites fan and a fan of football in general Leeds United need to stay in business. Our vocal, passionate supporters are missed in the Premiership and our even our old enemies like Man U and Chelski are missing the banter every week. If we disappear forever then the City of Leeds will lose a great sporting institution and football will be a darker more boring place without the mad but fascinating club that is Leeds United. I thought Risdale had messed things up in pretty spectacular style but at least he tried to make us a force to be reckoned with. What has Bates exactly done for the club? Another relegation and an even bigger financial black hole to stare into hopelessly...and he said he was going to repair the damage!!!!!!!!
Georgina Jane

I'm from ireland supported leeds for 15yrs and i couldnt imagine life without leeds utd...the last few years have been tough but it makes me even more proud to be a leeds fan cause i know that we will be great again....i think bates needs to go and a takeover is the only possible way out of this...MOT LEEDS LEEDS LEEDS

As a Liverpool fan I cannot imagine what it must be like for the Leeds fans at the moment. I can only hope for the sake of all the LUFC fans and for footy fans in general that sense prevails and Leeds are rightfully restored to where they belong back in the Premiership, so we can get 6 points off you every season (only joking just 3). All the best for your campaign for Leeds' safety.
Matty

I'm an Australian Leeds fan and just wanted to say LUFC has a fair bit of support down here which really shows that although the local supporters who go to the games every week are what make the club, Leeds also has world wide appeal. I'm sure as supporters we'll all look back on this time in 5 years when we are back in the premiership as the time when we all stuck together in advertisy. MOT GO LEEDS.
Liam Putnis

We might all be LUFC through and through, and all know how gut wrenching it is to keep reading what is happening at OUR Leeds United. However, I just want to make one comment to all the other fans of other clubs that have approached me. Gone has the banter about how everyone hates Leeds, for the past few days every fan I have spoken to has spoke of how it would be a loss to the game if we were no-more and how much we, (us the fans) deserve this club back where it belongs. Hopefully some of these people can join the fight. What ever happens, we will all March on Together

a life long leeds fan. a may only be 18 bt this club is everything to me. from 8 years ago when a frst gt a season ticket for my birthday to now when a get home and away ones. there is nothinglike the atmosphere at elland road on matchday or the chanting in the pubs when you go to away grounds.this city needs a club. we will be back to the big time.. lufc is not just a hobby or a pass time to me.. it my life.

Leeds Utd must be saved. Period!

A Leeds fan for over 35 years, we as fans cannot just sit back and allow this great club to suffer at the hands of incompetitants no longer. We the proud fans and people of Leeds and Yorkshire have been through more than most football supporters the world over. We now need professionals to run and manage Leeds United and to restore the battered pride. I am confident there is someone out there who can do this and they will. Leeds United is a huge club...not potentially...it is. From a pure business perspective it is probably the most attractive proposition in European football right now...it can only go one way with the right people on board. But the rewards for everyone connected with the club go far beyond purely financial, this is also an opportunity to establish a new legacy for Leeds and the great county of Yorkshire. For those who are genuine, honest in their intent, inspired by the thrill of the game and ultimately want to do some good while making a sound investment, a rare opportunity is here; Leeds United Football Club. Do not sit back, we need action now. We are Leeds, we are proud and we will be great again.
Rich

Leeds will still be around for many, many years and for future generations of supportors, its a great football club and as a great fan base of real supportors not glory hunters. I have followed them for 35 years and seen a lot of ups and downs in this time but my love for Leeds as never changed and never will. We will start life in league 1 soon and then our rise back to the top will begin again, not even the inland revenue can hold us back. Kaz

I am a Leeds fan, have been all my life. I used to live in Essex and made the pilgimmage to Elland on regular basis, taking my wife and children with me. I have now moved to the Middle East (tax man try and find me)but had the full intention of forking out the best part of £600 on air fares for me, taking unpaid leave so that I could attend at least one game per month. If I knew where he lived I would personally approach the so called investor from Dubai and plead with him to put up, but I don't, so PLEASE somebody back home in Blighty, save our club, the only club, before we end up blasted into the oblivion of non-existence!!!!!

I remember the day as if it was only yesterday, sunday 2nd august 1992 the makita tournament my first ever visit to elland road. i wasnt born in leeds and neither was my old man, i was in fact born in guisborough but have lived in middlesbrough all my life.i remember the journey too it seemed to take an eternity watching all those white shirts and of course the shirts of the notts forest, sampdoria and vfb stuttgart fans makin way to the ground. but it was the brilliant white leeds top that i was so interested in. i remember the legend that is david batty being his usual self went into a challenge so hard he kicked a sampdoria player over the advertising boards, i turned to my dad and said " dad is that the real david batty"? he looked at me and smiled and put his arm around me with the corus of marching on together ringing in my ears to this very day i knew it was the real david batty and i knew that this was my team LEEDS UNITED. the result didnt matter, we lost one-nil as lots of you will remember but from that day on leeds united has run through my blood through good times and these bad. whoever is running this page and thinking of saving leeds united NOW is the time to do so!!!!!! Something has to be done to redress the balance of finance in our once beautiful game. As a Forest fan, I know the suffering of falling from once dizzy heights. When a crap club like Derby can get £50 million for getting into the Premiership, but a club like Leeds, which is the heart of a huge and vibrant city can be on the verge of extincion- just highlights the disgusting greed and inequality in the game today. Send the big 4 clubs to Europe and lets get all this stinking filthy money out of the game and get back to what it used to be all about. Football, and dreams. I hope Leeds can be saved because it affects all of us who support the beatiful game...

I've been a Leeds Fan for 45 years, Home, away and abroad. I LOVE the club, and after having seen the good times as well as the bad times in the 80's i can't ever remember a worse time! We wont be the first club to suffer from chairmen who either a) spend money the club cant afford like theres no tomorrow until the pot of gold is empty. or b) take what they can out of a club without putting anything back in. Living in Carlisle I remember a certain Mr knighton (the one who tried to buy Man Utd) buying Carlisle United and promising to get them into the European Cup... What happened? He nearly took them out of the league altogether and nearly bust! In the last couple of years alone theres been clubs like Rotherham, Wrexham and Boston (and in Scotland Motherwell) who have ended up in administration for various reasons. And then there is poor Scarborough who no longer have a football club. These clubs mean (or meant in the case of Scarbrough) just as much to their fans as Leeds United does to us. Now is the time for ALL football fans to make their voices known and tell these cronies who rip off football clubs and their fans we dont want or need them in our game! Marching on together!
Simon

Once you suppport a club like our great Leeds United, it stays with you for life. The Closure of our club would be the same as lossing a loved one and no one wants to feel that pain. At the moment Leeds is like a very sick loved one and we must do everything in our power to support and help our club to be stronger and great again. We are the TRUE owners of Leeds, we must stand up and be counted.

I've just read through all the comments posted so far. Some brought a smile to my face, and stirred memories from days gone by, others left me with a lump in my throat. All had one common sentiment though; they all want to help save Leeds irrespective of whether they support us or not. We have an amazing fanbase, just read some of the comments on the Leeds United Fanclub forum and you'll see what I mean. At this moment in time I'm feeling slightly more optimistic than I was on Tuesday. Investors are still interested, and I'm confident we will still have a team. Lets all stay positive, and lets all help save Leeds ! Ian182.

Common sense needs to be applied here to save a great football club. This isn't some minor club - this is one of the best-known football clubs in the world.

Never been a Leeds supporter, my team is Norwich but I remember as a kid Norwich were in the 3rd division South and I collected football cards. Leeds was one of the great clubs that I hoped Norwich would one day be. We had our moments in the limlight, international football etc and then the best players were sold for a quick buck. To lose a great clubs like Leeds would be a disaster not just for the fans but for the game itself. Too many players paid too much for non performance, what other industry pays so much to it's workers for not producing the goods, it's the state of the game today. Yes it's a business but there are many levels of business and even if a club is not in the top flight it still means more than a balance sheet to it's loyal supporters. Leeds United must be saved not just for it's fans, not just because it was once a great team with great players who brought more than money in but played their hearts out because they loved the club. No, above all else it's for the game itself. If football loses Leeds United then football will lose it's heart and there's not much hope for the rest of us. Good luck to Leeds and it's loyal fans in your struggle, the whistle hasn't blown yet. Many games have been won in injury time, one more goal, com'on, you can do it. All the best. John Blythe.

I have been a Leeds fan all my life, well pretty much most of the 38 years of it. I grew up with pictures of Bremner, charlton and co on my bedroom walls. Leeds United must not be allowed to die. The club is in this position due to the previous mismanagment of individuals who have not been held to account. The supporters to whom the club matters have had no opportunity to influence this situation. If the club ceases to exist, football as a whole will be poorer, due to the loss of the history and heritage that the club represents to the whole game. Football must learn the lessons of Leeds United - that the wrong people must never be allowed to control and jeopardise our great clubs. If they are, the game of football in this country will lose its unique appeal and attraction, and supporters of all clubs will lose out.
Ricardo Da Lepp

All I have known is Leeds United, its always been there. My dad said it was one of the first words I could say. Will all the local MPs get behind this movement and not against Leeds which is what it appears like. Remember its the people of Leeds who voted you in and can easily vote you out as well. COME ON LEEDS.
Lee

dont let this happen to a great club like leeds.the supporters dont deserve it.we are the biggest die hard fans in football
Ciaran Harte

Duncan Revie, WHERE ARE YOU???? Someone put their money where their mouth is...PLEASE!!!!
Simon

save Leeds united! i dont support them - heck i'm not even that keen on footie but my hubby is and i cant imagine what he'll be like to live with if we lose Leeds! save leeds ( and my sanity )!
mrs smith

Ive not lived in Leeds since I was 8mths old. I have however supported them all my life. No matter where Ive lived I have always travelled home to Leeds and Elland Rd. Yet again our club is suffering from bad management, whether it be Risdale, Bates or any other board monkey, its the football and the fans who hurt the most. Please whoever gets to sort out this mess, do it for the people that matter in a way that lasts so our proud heritage as one of the biggest clubs in the world can continue. Leeds! Leeds! Leeds!
Andy Matt

As a young 7 year old, I first supported Leeds at the 1973 Cup Final, when all my family were rooting for Sunderland. I did not understand that we were the mighty and the Roker Boys were the under dogs. I thought I was supporting the under dog. How ironic that to this day I have continued to support the under dogs. Everyone seems to want to stick the knife in. But despite all of the highs and considerably more lows, I continue to support. It is not just the city of Leeds that needs a football team, but football itself needs Leeds United. Death and taxes!!!
Richard Dangerfield

EVERBODY has got to pull together to try and save leeds united, whether they like us or not,it could qute easily be their club that is going through what we are goig through at the precise moment in time and i would'nt wish this on ANY other club, where would chelsea be without abramovich for instance? remember its not that long ago we were where they ar now,so we have got to save LEEDS UNITED after all its the supporters who are suffering and with all the hatred from other clubs put aside we ae not a bad bunch of people and we don't desreve this, all we want to do is support our club, stand up and sing for leeds united, march on together and get us back where we should be,i've supported them for 37yrs what the flippin eck would i do on saturdays if this club did'nt exist,i would be forced into going shopping with the wife,so please please please,SAVE OUR CLUB.
Dennis Rawlinson

as a leeds fan for 39 years I can only say how much I love the club. Transparency is yet again lacking. Much bluff and bluster has been forthcoming and everybody needs to see this resolved asap. I urge all parties to work together rather than through threats to bring this to a quick conclusion. WE NEED A LEEDS 'UNITED'
Richard

I am a member of the leeds United Fan Club and have supported Leeds for some 35 years. This situation should never have been reached if certain people and organisations had done there job.Recent years comings and goings regarding consortiums and groups bying for control of Leeds United has been nothing less than a circus with animals and clowns a plenty.Leeds United is an institution and is admired around the world for our success and tradition. I have spoken to hundreds of supporters of late from various clubs and have been astounded by there support for the cause .No one deserves to be in the top flight of football this you need to earn.During our history we have raised the profile of English football, now we as fans are paying the price. For the sake of football and Leeds United save us. As one of the fan clubs members banner says "What would Billy have said"
lufcste

Leeds United must not be allowed to disappear. It is a wonderful football club with amazing supporters. I will never forget my day in Cardiff last year, where 40,000 of us sang Marching on Together as the teams came out. I have already e-mailed the Prime Minister and the Minister for Culture and Education - I am prepared to do much more.
Mark Anderson

Iam 44 and supported Leeds since the late 60's and although i'm a Brummie by birth over the years i have been proud to be associated with this wonderful football club, again this season i have renewed my season ticket more in support of the club than any great expectations of doing well this coming season, yet again just when you think things can't get any worse surprise surprise the inevitable happens and we get kicked down again.please if someone is listening up there put an end to this misery and let our luck change and let someone take over the club who really cares and can save this once proud football club,m.r bates is clearly not the man otherwise he wouldn't of offered a derisory ammount of money to the creditors in the first place, all he continues to do is play about with figures hoping to get the cheapest deal, well i'm affraid it's backfired on him this time big time i just hope it don't spell the end for us because if so the witch hunt on bates will be massive..........
Neil Clayton

The Football League are sitting on their hands whilst the taxman tries to make an "example" out of Leeds. Where are all the other chairmen. There by the grace of.....etc. If Leeds go out of business then it shows that no club is safe!!
JC London

Please God a quiet take-over and lets got on with it.
Michael North

I've supported Leeds for 13 years, through good times and bad. Never have I ever witnessed such a great club fall on such hard times. I will always support Leeds forever, but I hope and pray that such misfortune may never befall any football club, ever. Regardless of how much they may hate Leeds. Marching On Together, always and forever!!!
Jackie Krishan

Have been a United supporter since the day I was born (1934), my dear old dad was a Leeds player in the 1930's, during this time I have seen all the highs and lows, and believe me there have been plenty, but I never remember feeling so downhearted as I feel to-day (6/7/2007) having heard the news, we could be out of existance by the start of August if someone dosen't come along with the cash to save us, heaven forbid that that will happen, I know I have got everything crossed and am praying to the good Lord to help and save our great football club.
Peter Moore

I've been a Leeds fan for over half my life, and what is going on at the club these days worries me. I want to say that the city of Leeds needs a club like LUFC, as they not only bring jobs and entertainment to the city and surrounding area, but also since they are involved in a lot of charitable work. The city and football club of Leeds is known way outside of England, and here in Norway the club is still among the most popular clubs to follow. The best of luck to the club, and salutes to all the lifelong fans of Leeds. I can't even begin to understand what this must feel like with you who have grown up in the area. Fingers crossed in Norway.

Leeds cannot be allowed to fold. The club is an important part of the city and part of the lifes of the residents of Leeds and surrounding areas. Please, Redbus or Simon Morris save us. The fans of LUFC need you. ToTheTopTogether
Nick Coleman

I hope that KPMG fail the CVA and the Bates era can be history. I just think he's repulsive, his presence devoids us of all sympathy and he is the type of shady character that needs to be removed from football. As a season ticket holder my questions to him would be.... How much did Wise's desperate loans cost? What happened to the £5m we got from Chelsea Why were we talking about this two weeks before we were relegated? Why does everyone hate Krasner, when he is acting for the good of the club? What happened to Revie? Anyone with answers send me an email.
Tim Kinnear

As a Sunderland fan I have no real reason or inspiration at that to post a demand to save Leeds. However, they were sponsored by Strongbow at one point, and Strogbow is a good cider. Some of the matches we have shared have been enjoyable, and memorable to some extent. Also, my late Dad siupported Leeds. So, save Leeds. I guess.
Noodle

im a sunderland fan with the rivalry between our clubs we know much an asset leeds utd are, we only hope that they stay in the footballing league. save leeds
Daniel Ferry

Please register your support and try to pass this on ... to anybody. Most of my 36 years of supporting Leeds has been downs but if Leeds go then I am done with football as will be many others. Football will lose something unique. Stal
Andy Stalmanis

I'm not a great Leeds supporter - I'm from Newcastle - but I'll do what I can to help save your club from going down the pan. The fans deserve better.
Robbie

I have been a loyal Leeds United supporter all my live and im nearly 40 now so ive had my share of ups and downs but the past season has got to have been the worse. To top relegation we are o the brink of going out of buisness which is unthinkable (what my worse nightmares are made of)So please who ever you support Help us to be DIRTY LEEDS again. If i had the money to do so i would buy the club but dreams dont always come true do they ????? We are a big club sleeping and i know good times can be around the corner if only we can work our way thriugh this together. Marching in together we will see you win again im sure of it.
Andy Bamber

This has to be the worst week of my life, if 2 relegations in 3 years wasnt enough, the Play off final defeat aswell, seing the turnout of our supporters-50,000 compared to 18,000 Watford fans. It just shows and proves what a massive club we still are despite this s**t that weve all bin through, this club simply can`t go under, I just don`t know what id do with myself, its driving me mad,HELP PLEASE Birdy
Birdy

I ask the football league ensure Leeds survival through the giving of the golden share.
Mike Houston

We, the fans, have done nothing to deserve this. Our club is not a football to be kicked around by Government and business. Revie - we are not a vehicle for cheap publicity, Morris we are not an easy development opportunity, Bates - stop playing Russian roulette with our great club. LUFC is at the heart of our lives - do the right thing and stop playing with our future. Steve
steve broom

Bates is taking the rise. He is refusing to say where the season ticket money is and is trying to make it as difficult as possible for any new bidders who want to buy the club. This is not about Mps CVAs the football league or HMRC its about one man's stupidity. Bates is a bad thing he must go now! I know there are problems with any new owners but they will be as nothing compared to what this man is doing to my club a club I have supported since I was 5, 50 years ago
John Boocock

Leeds are a big club who have been mis-managed by several parties over the past 7/8 years. Its happening to us today it could happen to any club (Champions league semi finalists included) tomorrow.
Steve Sims

Oldham fan here will openly admit i had a snigger when you went down, especially as we had leeds fans posting on our messageboard giving it the we are too big a club to go down crap. But in 2003, we were in a similar situation to yourselves and were 24 hours from going into liquidation. It is not a nice feeling at all and would not wish it upon anyone else and genuinely do feel for the real leeds fans. Heres hoping the worst doesnt happen, and heres hoping again that its not Bates who buys you
Carl Clare

have supported Leeds since 1970, prior to the Cup Final in 1970, at school in Dublin, we played Leeds vs Chelsea as it was the forthcoming Cup Final, I was knee high to a flee's arse, so was one of the guys who got picked at the end as the older guys had all the best picks, but I always got picked for Leeds and watched the game, cried to bits during the replay as 30 years later have realised that this is our lot, and still love them to bits, am now in Glasgow, we will survive, read all the posts from Kinel, Clearly, Slicks, Jools, Dee and all the others, there are thousands more out there. We will March On Together.
David Davison

I have been a loyal leeds fan for 40 years, and a season ticket holder for 18 of those ,I sit in the Kop and stare up at the empty upper tier of the east stand, a stand I helped to pay for, with the bond scheme, but can no longer sit in, and at the moment, my heart is as empty as that stand. Any true supporter of any club should pray this never happens to them, and believe me it could. Leeds utd are still one of the biggest clubs in europe, and we are collectively asking for help, but is anyone listening. I can only pray that someone has the good sense to see this club is vital to the city of leeds, and to football. Come on people lets get this ailing giant back on it's feet, and get the pride back into leeds utd. Spud.
Nick tait

I am leeds throuh and through (not like alan smith mmmm) I am from leeds and have supported leeds for 35 yrs (I am 40) I knew from the start that ken bates was not the man for Leeds utd he is a money monger in it for what he can get including all his chelsea tossas!!!(Flo, wise, poyet etc etc). Do not let one of if not the best team in the world go into oblivion it would not be right, I have travelled wordwide and everyone but everyone knows by the great white shirt who we are:- LEEDS UNITED, marching on together...

born n bred in the aire valley, lifelong gelderd ender, we MUST not be allowed to die... WE ARE LEEDS

It is clearly morally wrong that the reckless financial management by Peter Ridsdale and his associates should result in thousands of fans being punished by seeing their club so close to extinction, and the culprit walking away with no punishment whatsoever. It appears that the immediate future of LUFC is in the hands of the Football League who should allow Leeds to participate in the coming season's competition until the ownership issue is settled.
John Brauns

Went to my first game with my Dad in 1980 Aston Villa at Home - Byron Stevenson scored in the 1st minute (What a start, but we eventually lost 2-1) I have been completely hooked ever since. Years later in 1999 took my own son to see us beat Southampton 1-0 with a last minute Michael Bridges goal. Leeds United have & always will be a huge part of my life and I am both honoured & proud to be a Leeds fan. This great club simply must not be allowed to die. We need somebody's help NOW - PLEASE!!!!! Marching On Together
Jon Roberts

Football, the City of Leeds and the country's economy cannot afford to lose a club like Leeds United. I hope that KPMG will sell the club to the most professional party willing to take it on, having given all parties every chance to inspect all relevant figures & papers. We cannot afford otherwise.
David Clark

My heart goes out to all the players and staff at the club. They are about to start the season...or are they? It must be terrible trying to focus on the job at hand not knowing whether the club will remain or not. From a personal perspective...save Leeds, I don't my LUFC tattoo to become a memorial tattoo!
Russell (Tocka)

Hi, i'm Beefy from www.footballchatter.com and i've watched Leeds for 35 years now. The last few years has been a living nightmare, time and time again i've thought things are gonna improve only for things to get worse. Now it looks like we're drinking at the last chance saloon. Please someone come and bail us out, and put the greatest club in the world back in the news for acievements on the pitch, not for boardroom battles.
Beefy

Although I live in Australia, I am and alwys will be first and foremost a Yorkshireman. Leeds United is not just a football club, it is a symbol of my and countless millions of others' heritage. We will do the game of football a huge injustice if we endeavour to commit the memory of Jackie Milburn, John Charles, Frank Buckley, Jackie Charlton, Don Revie, Peter Lorimer, Billy Bremner, [need I go on] to the history bookshelves. Their sweat and their spirit lives on in the current team and the current dressing room. I once had the opportunity as a young boy to play on the hallowed turf of Elland Road. It was truly memorable. Don't take that opportunity and that feeling away from our future. I truly hope a white knight exists to save our club. Leeds without football is like football without Leeds.....
Steve Hill

I have been a Leeds supporter since 1947....even though I've lived in Canada since 1952. This is a tragedy.....please someone step forward and save our club.
John Sykes

Leeds United is the recognised symbol of the City of Leeds. An area of containing two million is world wide associated with Leeds United. Leeds United is the unique source of civic and local pride. Leeds United' standing and community work are second to none. Leeds United's supporters behaviour and unmitigated warm enduring support in the recent years of gloom has earned the admiration and respect of all. Leeds United is more than a football club. On a personal level, man and boy, it is the centre of my thoughts. For 59 years. Work and family are also important. But often you can change a job. You can get divorced. You never stop loving Leeds United. The supporters and the team that are Leeds United are not to be faulted. They are not to be punnished. The root and only cause of Leeds United's present position is the crass behaviour of the management. This has only been compounded by lax supervision. Those who wish to punish Leeds United and her supporters should look at the real culprits. Punish them. But preserve Leeds United for the sakes of th game, the City and the supporters,of all of whom are guiltless. Save the club. Save Leeds United. With regards Michael Benjamin
Dr Michael Benjamin

Lifelong Hull City fan so know exactly what you are all going through. I'm sure a buyer will come in and invest, after all Leeds Utd are a much more attractive club than City were in our time of need (God bless Adam Pearson). Good luck to genuine fans, success will come your way again - oh, and bring back terraces. Kick Money Out Of Football!!!!
Miffy

As a Rams fan who's seen his team on the wrong end of many thrashings from Leeds United, I'm happy to register my support in saving this once mighty institution. English Football would be inestimably diminished by Leeds' demise. "Marching on together....."
Bruce Heald

For the fans' sake the club must be saved.
Paul Dally

The Football authorities should not let the supporters and club of Leeds go down because of charlatans who have imporperly 'owned' the club. Of course the club can/will be a going concern when the dust settles. Let that happen!!!
mark pilling

The ideal solution imho is for redbus to join forces with duncan revie to join forces with the americans. The biggest problem as i see it is the unavailability of suitable management, on and off the field This more than the funding is probably what has been holding up "suitable" bidders.
michael walsh

Put your differences and personal vendetta's aside, this is club that needs saving. Many thousand fans that love to go to matches every week are being put in jeopardy, please, please, save Leeds United.
Colin Gitsham

What can I say? I have supported Leeds since 1970, I have bought my season ticket, I couldn't stand not having my club to support. Come On Leeds M.O.T
Chris Mallon

Went to my first match when I was 6. Dad was born in Leeds told me all about the revie team when I was a Kid, I never looked back. Live in London now work hard and the 1 thing that keeps me going is my 370 miles round trip once a month to see my beloved Leeds. If someone out there has the money then help us you be buying the best football club in the world and this is because of people like me THE FANS. Forget your MAN U'S and CHELSEA'S Leeds fans are here till the end.
Adrian Healey

I have been in love with Leeds United since I saw them beat Arsenal in the Centenary FA Cup Final back in 1972. When my family moved to Leeds in 1973 I could not believe it was true. I started going to games in 1976 and had to go three times before I even saw them score. Since then it's been a rollercoaster ride. Leeds United have been at my side through seven cars, five kids, four jobs, three weddings, two divorces and one vasectomy. I've been by their side while they travelled to 46 grounds in the Premiership, Championship, First Division, Second Division, FA Cup, Carling Cup, Littlewoods Cup, Coca Cola Cup, UEFA Cup, European Cup and the UEFA Champions League. I've left work at 4 to drive to Southampton on a rainy Tuesday, getting back home at 3am only to have to get up for work at seven. In the mid 90s I missed 11 games in 3 seasons and apart from one they were all outside the UK. I had such faith in Leeds United that I booked a hotel, booked a flight and bought a ticket for the Champion's League Final only to find myself watching Bayern Munich and Valencia. I was there at West Brom when we got relegated in 1982. I paraded down Park Row and into City Square when we got promoted in 1990. I was at Bramall Lane when a Bryan Gayle own goal put us within touching distance of the League title in 1992. I cannot see my club die. So someone, somewhere, please save my Leeds United.
Brian Hamilton

I am a 40 year old Norwegian that have been following Leeds United my entire life. I can not count the amount of pounds spent on Leeds on travels, tickets, shirts and more. I love Leeds, me, and if I can show my support by posting to this board, I will. And I honestly believe the situation will be sorted one way or the other, because the world has not stopped going round as yet! We are Leeds, 4 ever!
Øystein Bjøndal Lund

Whatever happens, we'll make sure Leeds United continues in one form or another. I just wish we could rescue football from the evil mitts of big business.
Brian

Hi there Baggies fan here, I just wanted to wish Leeds United all the best through this torrid time, I really hope you pull through, football would not be the same without you guys, your a massive club and you deserve far better than this, I suggest anyone that dislikes Leeds should sit up a and realise that it's all just banter and when things like this happen we all have to stick together no matter what team we support, because after all it's FOOTBALL that makes the game we love lets all remember that. Good luck Leeds I shall be keeping tabs on things and I hope to god that scumbag Bates is kicked out of football for good for this! Boing Boing!
Dale Brookes

I am a Burnley supporter,my first away game was at Leeds just after they sold John Charles when the old stand was destroyed by fire,so Ive always had a soft spot for Leeds. think it would be a tragedy if the fans at Leeds lost their club mainly because of a conmans greed All the best for the future.
winsomeyen

I first started supporting Leeds in the early 70s when they were THE team. People I knew then who also supported us drifted off to other clubs, but I can't do that. LUFC is my team, always will be. The fans and the City deserves something better than this, someone ought to sit all the potential buyers down in one room and bang their collective heads together until they see sense, combine their collective wealth and save OUR club.
Keith

This is a very sad time for all the Leeds fans. I was brought up on Leeds United by my older brother and the effect that the match results good or bad have on my family are amazing. My family adore Leeds and my nan who is 79 tries to get to as many matches as she can. There is no way this can be allowed to happen, someone needs to step in and save a club that has gone through so much already, this club needs to stay in existance or what will be the point in football anymore?! Please someone do something...dont let the Leeds fans have their hearts ripped out:( how could we ever get over something like this:( I am trying to keep positive but it is getting harder.
Shelli

I'm not a Leeds Supporter, but I am a football supporter, and no football club must be allowed to go out of business like this. Football isn't about the owners or shareholders, it's about the fans who are the true owners both in spirit and tradition, of any football club. The people who own it are just the custodians, and should be safeguarding the club for future generations. Good luck to you all, and I hope Leeds get through this darkest of hours and rise again.
Graham

leeds fan from cumbria for 40years seems like a long time from that great night in milan singing with the team o matteo lets get back to that level
keith whittle

Strange days these. Like many Whites, nowadays feel proficient enough in administration procedures to confuse the shite out of anyone foolish enough to enquire as to plight of our Club. Nevertheless rock solid here that we can soon get back to talking about the round pigskin thing, and that a rejuvinated LUAFC will 5 seasons hence be knocking on the Premiership, and up everyones noses twice as bad as before. On On On.

C'mon football league let us start the season - it's obvious someone will buy the club. Marching on together

I too, like Gryph was 'the only white in the village'. Growing up in Cornwall, all my mates were Liverpool, Manx and anything else, apart from me. I fought for the great name of Leeds at primary school, and emplore everyone to fight for the great name now, 30 years on. I had 4 great seasons travelling from London to Leeds (and everywhere else) when I was a student, now back in Cornwall, it is a little tougher to get up there. But nevertheless, my heart is still at Elland Road and the Lowfields Terrace. Marching On Together
Squibby

I can't say anything that hasn't already been said. Sheepy's opening comment is spot on though. We CANNOT lose Leeds United. Mr Ridsdale, the rest of his board and Mr O'Leary are responsible for this and it's not going to affect them one bit. It's the fans that will suffer and that's not right. Even the Inland Revenue would be better off in the long run if we survive. If Duncan Revie can pull this off I know Leeds United can be great again. I'll be there to find out and if one day long into the future we can climb to English football's pinacle once again I will look back to this moment and will feel more pride in our achievement than ever before. Come on Leeds!
Chris

The name of Leeds United must not be allowed to die. It is a name recognised across the world as a great name in football. We are only where we are due to successive asset strippers getting their claws on this great club. Keep the faith.
Burnleyinexile

Hope you pull through and your supporters get fully behind the rescue mission. Get a supporter on the board by whatever means! Good luck from Swansea City

I've supported Leeds since 1991. If Leeds goes, I've had enough of football. Leeds forever!

I've supported Leeds United since the mid sixties through thick and thin and do not intend to stop now. For God's sake, somebody sort this mess out now.

For God's sake - and for the sake of all our history, our proud achievements, our loyal fans who have suffered so much, for the sake of football - Franks, Morris, Revie whoever has the money, work together rid us of Bates and give us a new life -The time is NOW- supporter for 35 years. Don't break our hearts please...
Harvey, Reaney....

As a Scarborough supporter all my life I know what you are going through, it feels like someone has reached into my chest & ripped my heart out. I know that Leeds is potentialy top 5 club, as has been seen in the past and i'm sure will be seen again in the future, too many poeple care to let it die. We at Scarboro couldn't get the support of the townspeople often enough, except the glory hunters when Chelscum et al came to town. we have not died completley as we are forming a new club(scarborough Athletic) and this time it is being run by a supporters trust, so hopefully we may get back to our own bigtime someday, anyway ggod luck in the future & hope & pray LUFC dosn't die, all the best, Jellywig.
Steve Elwick

Someone plz sort this out.. We can't lose our beloved club just because HMRC want to get one over on old papa smurf for being a tax dodger... Ken bates thinks he can come to yorkshire & throw his weight around.. Come on people lets show him who's boss.. LEEDS LEEDS LEEDS..!!!!!!

Not long to start of season. The F.A needs to be pro active and support the club. Use the Football Supporters Trust as a means of giving supporters a democratic say in how the club says afloat.

Get rid of the spin doctors and money men who have no genuine football knowledge - only genuine egos - and who are in it to glorify themselves and get rich by asset striping if their spin doctoring fails. Build from the bottom upwards, it has been done before and it can be done again!

Leeds born and teenager in the Revie years. Long gone from Leeds, but I would like to be a lifetime supporter! Please can we have a manager who can actually string three words together and a chair who cares.

Just seen my team go under after 128 years. Hope that you avoid the same fate
Billyseadog

Would be a shame to lose you chaps. Whilst not a Leeds supporter the game would be worst for your absence.
Oscar McCarthy

http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/saveleedsutd/ The real only parasite is the inland revenue! Whoever buys the club will still have to deal with all the carrion and it is these people who will take much needed money from the pot needed to rebuild the club. This might be a bit late in the day but here is a petition to get the IR to reconsider their position regarding Leeds Utd. Maybe we can, with a show of numbers, get them to act in the best interests of the people for once!
MrFisty

I´ve been a Leeds United fan since I could walk, over thirty years ago, and God knows we´ve had our ups and downs but I could never support any other club, and I never will. I hope my club will still be there to cheer on in the coming years. Please save our club.

Leeds since 1968 and until they put me in the ground - and maybe from beyond the grave after that! First Ridsdale/Leighton screw up big time, now Bates takes us to the edge. All we can do is keep the faith and keep on marching on together. Hopefully Bates will be forced out and someone (Revie? Pearson?) will come in and repair the damage. WE ARE LEEDS!
Richard Addison

The club's survival is extremely important to my husband who has been going to Elland Road since 1968. The club's supporters are incredibly loyal and they deserve to have a club like Leeds in the future. The current situation is due to poor management on and off the pitch as well as greed. These circumstances are beyond the control of the club's supporters and hence they must be rescued from such incompetence. Leeds United is an important sporting institution with a great history that must not be allowed to disappear.
Nichola Hay

Football needs Leeds..plan and simple.I am not a Leeds supporter but the history, the passion of the support and majority of the time the wonderful football the team play cannot be made extinct. Alan

Have been a fan for about 10yrs now and if Leeds goes so does my interest in any football.
Paulo

Let's hope that this dire situation is sorted out very soon and we can go forward. I cannot bear to think of the state that we are in now! What has happened to our great club? Marching on Together!!
Lynda & Michael Wrightson

Leeds united through and through just like a stick of rock! Don't let Leeds die!!!!!!!
Kingsley Knaggs

guys guys, cool it,i,m a leeds fan for 40years,even saw the great team many times,we need guys to play for us because they love leeds, when the great team played you never read about a player moveing on to a new club, they all stayed with leeds, since 1988 we have had players who went for the cheque book they dont care about leeds, billy bremner wore his white shiry with pride,so dont worry we are going to come back,it will be hard but we will be back, how many of us would like to see david back as manager,i would,he is leeds thru and thru, and as for man utd well you did well last year, must have been all the ex leeds players that did it for you, regards to all leeds fans, gerry brown,in n,ireland

42 Year old Leeds fan. I can not remember a more undeserving leadership team than this one. Bates is a joke and will only drag us further down. I gave him the benefit of doubt at the start but his is a disgrace. You can not do what he has done to this club, and football in general without a backlash. I can only hope and pray he looses control.STAND UP AND SING FOR LEEDS!

I've followed leeds united all my life,i don't live in leeds,i come from peterborough.when i was at school(a long time ago now).you were either arsenal, liverpool, man utd or leeds.nearly everyone i went to school with supported the other teams.but not me,i was the one who followed leeds united, and i'm pleased i did.we haven't had the same sucess as the other teams i mentioned, and i've taken a lot of stick over the years about it.but i can handle all of that, that's part of being a footie fan.but the mere thought of losing my beloved leeds united, that's a different matter all together.i hope and prey that things get sorted out,and that someone can come in and rescue leeds from this mess.and then we can send mr bates on his way.MARCHIN ON TOGETHER WE'RE GONNA SEE YOU WIN.

Have supported Leeds for 44 years through thick and thin - that's what being a fan is all about. But what is happening now is a travesty. Fortunately there are people who (we have to believe) have the interests of the club at heart, the business acumen and the financial resources to start to rebuild the club. They must be given the chance to prevent Leeds from extinction.
Colin Blackman

im a leeds fan but serving in iraq at the moment and was going to re-new my striker card but if wise or bates are still there i will save my money and take the wife somewhere.

Do people really understand just what it will mean if Leeds Utd are allowed to go bust. Apart from football and the pleasure(or otherwise!!) the team bring to Leeds people, just think on the number of jobs that will be afected if Leeds folds, away fans bring money to the city the would be spent elsewhere if Leeds is no more, shops, pubs, cafes etc would all have to cut staff. So Leeds Utd is very important to the city of Leeds long may you continue.
David Southwell

What a shame, Bates has had his wicked way with the proverbial prostitute that is Leeds United. He's bought them back for the third time.
bigg bucks

I can't imagine Leeds folding, it simply can't happen. Not because its impossible, just because my brain won't allow it to happen. We will live on, we will win more matches, we'll rise from the dead like a phoenix and promotion will feel so much better this year because we had to go through this mess first.
Neowhite

Plain and simple, bates has to go before we have no club left to save,He is a complete and utter disgrace to all associated with leeds united He's not leeds and never will be

Nigh on 40 year I`ve been a faifthful follower! Getting too long in the tooth, what little I have that are me own, to change now! Anyways I don`t want to! typical Taxman, lets kill the Goose that lays the Golden Egg! Umpteen years as yer taxman been raking it in from clubs like yer Leeds United, with never so much as a thankyou, Christmas card or nothing! Nows your chance to show your appreciation for all the money you have taken off the club in the past! Give em a chance to pay you back!

We've surived relegation and even Peter Risdale but if we don't rid our beloved Leeds of Ken Bates he will be the only thing we can't suvive. Bates and Wisey-It's time to go!!!!!
Tom Sagar

WE ARE LEEDS, WE ARE PROUD AND WE HATE BATES. SAVE LEEDS AND RID US OF KEN BATES
Tom Sagar

Why is it always the supporters that suffer. In every area, the customer is treated with respect..except football. To those with REAL power, help save leeds from extinction.

\'The days of Glory Glory Leeds United may not be evident at the moment but I, like many, am sure they will return. Leeds United were and should be Yorkshires top team every time, so come and get behind \'em and look forward to the days when Elland Road rings again with those spine chilling chants.\'
Brian Turner CBE - Chef/Restaurateur

PLEASE continue to circulate this in the public domain .I had to search for this specifically ? WHY is this not on the club website ? THANK YOU FOR YOUR EFFORTS KEEP GOING !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keith Ellis

i have followed leeds united from the major buckley days & the great john charles(i would think that he is turning in his grave just now)what is happening now is disgusting, and unthinkable.that this great club finds itself in the present position does'nt bear thinking about.i sincerely hope that the powers that be sort these problems out soon, very soon, and help the lads climb back out of this nightmare,to where we should rightly be on top of the world again

Now is the time that we need to show everyone in the football world that Leeds United are the biggest & best supported club in the world ! Come on all you 'fans' that turned up in Cardiff, then dissapeared, get behind our great club again and show your support. MOT
DaveK

WIth or without Ken Bates at the helm, let's hope that we're about to reach a turning point this week where we can start to look forward rather than looking back. Thanks to all the team members, particularly those who still aren't signed up to contracts for keeping going. We love you Leeds.
Deb

Jim

i love leeds, simply enough. there is not a day when i dont wear something on my person not to do with leeds. i even sing leeds songs in class! (i am 14 by the way) so if we went bankrupt i dont know what i'd do! we are leeds, we will be back
Mike Spencer

I'm a 44 year old dude from Malaysia. Have been following Leeds United from as far back i can remember - and that means the early 70's era. Heck, I even today I still have the leeds united sticker on my car, when everybody around here overwhelmingly support man united, chelsea, liverpool arsenal.
abbas wahiduddin

i've been a fan of leeds united for many years now,38 in fact.i've seen many ups and downs over the years, but nothing like this.we will turn things around, you'll see.we must never give in,and never give up,coz in years to come we will be back where we belong,in the prem.KEEP THE FAITH, MARCHIN ON TOGETHER.
